Jack Harrison – signed on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Manchester City in the summer of 2018 – scored the only goal of the match in the 65th minute.
Leeds chairman Radrizzani has taken to Twitter to thank the fans for their support against the Owls.

Promotion challenge
The win against Wednesday means that Leeds are now second in the Championship table with 82 points from 42 matches.
The Whites are now three points clear of third-placed Sheffield United, and they have the advantage in the race for the second automatic promotion spot.
With just four more rounds of matches left in the Championship this season, Leeds fans will be confident and optimistic of the players getting the job done.
The Whites will return to action next Friday when they take on Wigan Athletic at Elland Road in the Championship.
