Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani praised both Tyler Roberts and Kalvin Phillips on Twitter.

Andrea Radrizzani has taken to Twitter to message both Tyler Roberts and Kalvin Phillips and express his pride after the Leeds United pair helped out at a local church feeding the homeless ahead of Christmas.

Roberts and Phillips were pictured at LIFE Church Leeds, serving food and chatting with the visitors. And Radrizzani was full of praise for the two first-team stars for helping out.

While it is not uncommon to see football clubs doing lots of fantastic work at this time of year, it is perhaps a further sign of the unity that exists at Elland Road right now that Radrizzani has acknowledged the contribution that two of his players are making.

It is clearly an emotional message from the Leeds chairman – and highlights how the relationship between the players and the club’s hierarchy appears to be in an extremely good place.

Leeds have had their share of unpopular owners down the years. Radrizzani may not have got every decision right during his tenure, but the Whites have made big strides forward during his time at Elland Road – arguably off the pitch, as well as on it – and most fans only have good things to say about the Italian.
