Leeds United have snapped up Matthew Pennington from Everton.
Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has taken to Twitter this afternoon in order to send a message to the club’s new signing, Matthew Pennington.
The Whites had already secured seven new faces this summer, with Felix Wiedwald, Vurnon Anita, Mateusz Klich, Madger Gomes, Samu Saiz, Ezgjan Alioski and Caleb Ekuban all arriving, whilst permanent deals for loanees Pontus Jansson and Hadi Sacko also went through.

Leeds added another new face earlier today, as defender Matthew Pennington sealed a move to Elland Road, with the Everton youngster penning a season-loan deal with the Whites.
Pennington, 22, has come up through the ranks at Goodison Park having joined the Toffees at the age of just 11, and he has made nine appearances for Everton, even scoring against Liverpool back in April.
Now, the defender – who has enjoyed loan spells with Tranmere, Coventry and Walsall – will be looking to play regular first-team football with Leeds, offering Thomas Christiansen a versatile defensive option.

Radrizzani thanked Pennington for choosing a move to Elland Road amid rival interest from Hull City, before wishing him the best of luck during his loan spell with the Whites.
