Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has been reflecting on his time at the club so far.

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani says he has made ‘expensive mistakes’ during his stint in charge of the club so far.
Radrizzani took a controlling stake in the club in 2017 when he bought out Massimo Cellino.
He told The Times he is looking for new investment in the club and is in the process of narrowing down would-be partners.
Reflecting on his own role, Radrizzani admits that he has not got everything right so far.
He said: “It is very expensive, I invested over £90 million — with this level of money you could own a Europa League club in most of the European leagues, including Italy.
“The club makes losses, in this league it is impossible not to. We are still paying the consequences of my first year because I was inexperienced and we made some expensive mistakes with players.”
Radrizzani went through two bosses in his first year at Leeds, hiring and firing Thomas Christiansen and Paul Heckingbottom.

Most of the money gained from Chris Wood’s sale was invested badly in flops like Jay-Roy Grot and Pawel Cibicki.
Lengthy deals given to Ouasim Bouy, Eunan O’Kane and Conor Shaughnessy among others also remain a drain on the club’s resources.
Radrizzani seems clear he can’t do it all by himself, and welcomes the prospect of new investment.
