Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani promised the club have ‘better options’.

Leeds United are still looking for a new manager more than a week since Garry Monk handed in his shock resignation.
Aitor Karanka, Claudio Ranieri and Juande Ramos are among the names who have been linked along with Pep Clotet.

The name Rob Mulholland was probably not on the list of club owner Andrea Radrizzani.
The Leeds United fan contacted the club owner via Twitter, cheekily putting himself forward for the coveted position.
Radrizzani took it in good humour, and said that Leeds United have ‘better options’ on the table.
It is a good example of Radrizzani’s willingness to engage with supporters, even if he is playing his cards very close to his chest on where the club go from here.
Time is ticking for Leeds to get their new man in with pre-season starting in just over a month’s time, and transfer business already being done.
It will be a lot easier to start signing players once they have a new manager in place and players can start buying into the vision Radrizzani has for the club.
