Leeds United have long wanted Daniel James, but there is a strong chance that the Whites could miss out on the Swansea City winger this summer, with Manchester United, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur reported to be among the clubs interested in him.

According to TEAMtalk, Premier League giants United are in pole position to sign James from Swansea in the summer transfer window.

Sky Sports have claimed that Red Devils are close to agreeing a £15 million deal with the Championship club over the transfer of the 21-year-old winger.

TEAMtalk has claimed of interest in the Wales international from Tottenham, Everton and Bournemouth.

Leeds wanted to sign James from Championship rivals Swansea in the January transfer window, as reported in The Daily Star, but the move collapsed late on.

One Leeds fans is frustrated that the club failed to land the youngster in January, now that the likes of United and Tottenham are reported to be showing interest in the winger.
