Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani has ‘liked’ comments from head coach Marcelo Bielsa on Kiko Casilla on Twitter.
Bielsa has defended Casilla and has raved about the former Real Madrid goalkeeper.
The Spaniard was at fault for two of the three goals that Leeds conceded in their 3-0 defeat to Crawley Town in the third round of the FA Cup last weekend.
The Argentine said about Casilla, as quoted on SkySports: “I fully trust in Kiko and I will do the utmost possible to help him. I think that the treatment he suffered ignores the fact that he played 40 games for Real Madrid. Apart from whether his performances were good or bad, we forget all the things he has done to get the team promoted.”
Leeds chairman Radrizzani has ‘liked’ Bielsa’s comments about Casilla on Twitter, as shown below.

Keeping faith in Kiko Casilla
Casilla has lost his place in the Leeds starting lineup, with Ilian Meslier now the clear first-choice goalkeeper for the Premier League club.
The Spaniard has not been very impressive in the matches that he has played, and it is clear that the 34-year-old needs to step up his game if he is to reclaim his place in the starting lineup.
Casilla is a former Madrid player, which suggests that he is good and has quality. The Spaniard is going through a bad spell and is probably low on confidence, but if he keeps working hard, then he will get back to his best.
