Leeds United have announced that they have signed Helder Costa on loan for the season.

Andrea Radrizzani has taken to Twitter to welcome Helder Costa to Leeds after the Whites confirmed on their official website that the forward has joined on an initial season-long loan deal.
Costa became the fourth senior signing of the summer for Marcelo Bielsa’s side, with the Wolves man following Jack Harrison, Ben White and Jack Clarke through the Elland Road door.
The club have confirmed however, that the 25-year-old’s move will become permanent next summer when he will sign a four-year deal with the Championship side after three years at Molineux.
The news that Costa’s loan will become permanent is a real statement from Leeds regarding how much of an impact they expect the Portuguese to have during his time at Elland Road.

He struggled in the Premier League with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, but was impressive during his two years in the second tier, particularly in his first season with Wolves when his form arguably proved to be a key reason the side managed to stay in the division.
Leeds will be hoping that working with Bielsa sees Costa rediscover his very best form. And following the announcement, Whites chairman Radrizzani took to social media to send a message to the winger and to his parent club for agreeing to the deal.

Here is how Radrizzani reacted to the announcement…
