Leeds United have indeed targeted the domestic market this summer, as Andrea Radrizzani promised months ago.

Andrea Radrazzani may Leeds United fans a transfer promise back in February that he would focus on the domestic market this summer, and it seems that he may be about to deliver on his statement.
Leeds are said to be closing in on a deal for Matej Vydra in the Daily Mail, the Daily Mirror claim Joe Bryan is a target and Lewis Baker has already signed up.
Leeds’ potential transfer dealings are raising eye-brows, but it appears this was Radrizzani’s plan all along.

“From now on we will be far more focused on the domestic market, particularly the young players,” the Leeds owner said to the Yorkshire Evening Post at the start of the year.
If Leeds do manage to bring in Vydra and Bryan their squad will look considerably stronger.
There is optimism at Elland Road that the appointment of Marcelo Bielsa could make them a force again, and Leeds certainly seem to be prepared to invest more money than ever before into getting promoted.

Vydra and Bryan are not likely to be cheap additions, and if Leeds can get the double-deal over the line, then teams across the Championship are sure to take notice of them.
Leeds begin their season on 5th August, when they take on Stoke City at Elland Road.
