Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani has made a confident claim about the club’s future on Twitter.

Radrizzani has stated on Twitter that Leeds will “write soon the next chapter” in the club’s history.

The Italian businessman made the comment in response to club legend Lucas Radebe praising how things are going under him.

Radebe has been watching a documentary about Leeds, and he has been very impressed how head coach Marcelo Bielsa has transformed the club.

Successful

Radrizzani has been very good for Leeds, who are aiming to clinch automatic promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of the season.

The Whites finished third in the league table last season, and they are currently at the top of the standings.

If and when the campaign gets back underway, the West Yorkshire outfit will be confident of getting the job done and returning to the Premier League for the 2020-21 campaign.

Meanwhile, Harry Redknapp has given his take on the current situation of Leeds regarding their promotion hopes.

The former Queens Park Rangers boss believes that it would be unfair to promote the Whites without the rest of the games in the Championship being played.

Redknapp said on Sky Sports Football (9:16am, May 18, 2020), as transcribed by Leeds Live: “You’d have to look at that and maybe bring up the top two but even that is unfair, really.

“The top two, Leeds this time last year were walking away with the Championship and blew up, so you can’t tell.

“They looked home and dry but they couldn’t finish last season. I’m sure this year they’ll go on and do it, a good chance they will, but what about Fulham, Brentford and teams behind them, they might think they can go on a run in five or six games and might get into the top two.”
