Andrea Radrizzani has urged David Meyler on Twitter to change his allegiance from Liverpool and Celtic to Leeds United.
Liverpool and Celtic fan
Meyler, who retired from professional football in 2019, is a Liverpool and Celtic fan.
OTB reported in September 2019 that Meyer is ‘a boyhood Liverpool supporter’.
The story had comments from the 32-year-old about how he could have joined Liverpool.
The Glasgow Evening Times quoted Meyler as saying in October 2019 that he is “a Celtic fan from Ireland”.
The former Sunderland midfielder made the comments in regard to potentially joining Rangers as a coach.
Meyler was clear that he was not going to move to Rangers in any capacity.

Andrea Radrizzani’s message
Leeds chairman Radrizzani has urged Meyler on Twitter to change his allegiance.
Now, why has the Italian businessman said that?
Well, that’s because Meyler, a former Hull City midfielder, was sent the new Leeds kit by mistake.

The 32-year-old has made it clear on Twitter that he is not a Leeds fan and gave away the kit to a supporter.
Radrizzani has acknowledged the mistake, but the Leeds chairman then urged Meyler to become a fan of the Elland Road club.
It is fair to say that it is unlikely to happen.
