Tottenham Hotspur lost to Liverpool in Saturday’s Champions League final.

Italian legend Andrea Pirlo has criticised Tottenham Hotspur for their display Saturday’s Champions League final defeat by Liverpool – and was particularly scathing about Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen.
Liverpool beat Spurs 2-0 in Madrid to win a sixth European Cup title.
Moussa Sissoko conceded a penalty inside the first minute as Mo Salah fired the Reds ahead, before second-half substitute Divock Origi drilled home a second for Jurgen Klopp’s side late on.
There were a number of disappointing Tottenham performances, but Alli and Eriksen struggled in midfield for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Eriksen’s creativity was blunted by the likes of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson, while Alli was disappointing in goalscoring positions.
And AC Milan legend Pirlo has suggested that both of them went into hiding for the Lilywhites.
He said to Sky Italy: “Tottenham had no personality, people like Alli and Eriksen who didn’t want the ball. There was little quality in midfield.
