Schurrle is currently on loan at Fulham until the summer of 2020.

Andre Schurrle has told German magazine Kicker that he could return to Borussia Dortmund halfway through his two-year loan spell, with a relegation release clause inserted into the deal.
Schurrle, 28, has been in decent form for Claudio Ranieri’s side this season since joining the Cottagers on a two-year loan spell from German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.
He has scored six Premier League goals in just 21 appearances for the west Londoners. However, it has hardly helped Fulham, who sit in 19th place in the top tier of English football – seven points adrift of safety.
Former Chelsea attacker Schurrle has told Kicker that he will return to Dortmund in the summer if Fulham are relegated to the Championship, rather than seeing out his two-year spell in the second tier.
“No,” Schurrle said, when asked if he would remain at Craven Cottage upon the event of relegation. “My loan would end in if Fulham are relegated, and the contract at Dortmund would be active again.”

Fulham have lost five of their last six games, including a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace st Selhurst Park last time out in a crucial match which could prove crucial come the end of the season.
The chances of Schurrle remaining at Craven Cottage seem unlikely, then, but Fulham fans will not be impressed that his focus is on his Fulham future rather than then current fight against the drop.
