Aston Villa terminated Andre Moreira’s loan deal today.

Aston Villa saw Yannick Bolasie leave the club on Monday, with his loan spell from Everton being terminated after a matter of months at the club.
Villa have terminated another loan deal today, as they ended Andre Moreira’s stint at the club, sending him back to Atletico Madrid.
With Villa needing a goalkeeper back in August, they swooped to take Portuguese stopper Moreira on loan from Atletico for the season.
The 23-year-old had been tipped for a bright future when he joined Atletico in 2014, and after loan stints with three Portuguese clubs, Atletico felt a move to Villa would aid his development.
However, Moreira played just two games for Villa and failed to appear at all under Dean Smith, with his move becoming an absolute nightmare.
The writing was on the wall when Villa signed Lovre Kalinic and recalled Jed Steer, and Moreira’s exit was finally confirmed earlier today.

Remarkably, Moreira has already joined another club, as Portuguese side Feirense have confirmed the goalkeeper’s arrival on loan until the end of the season.
Moreira will be hoping for a much better stint at Feirense than he endured with Villa, but at least he now has a chance to play first-team football again.
