Aston Villa winger Andre Green has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s defeat to Peterborough United at the weekend.
Championship club Villa lost 3-1 to League One club Peterborough at home in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
The Villans started the game strongly and took the lead after just eight minutes through Keinan Davis, but the visiting team launched a stirring comeback late in the second half.
Jack Marriott restored parity for Posh on 75 minutes, and Ryan Tafazolli made it 2-1 on 83 minutes, and the former wrapped up the scoring for the visiting team in the third minute of injury time.
Green started the FA Cup third-round tie for Villa at Villa Park and played for the first 45 minutes.
The 19-year-old winger has admitted his disappointed at the final result, but the England Under-20 international is pleased to be back in action and is confident of improving match fitness in due time.
Meanwhile, former Villa midfielder Ian Taylor has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the defeat for Bruce’s team.
