Aston Villa’s youth team secured a resounding win with Green getting on the scoresheet.
Andre Green has taken to Twitter to celebrate Aston Villa’s under-23 side claiming an emphatic victory over their Blackburn Rovers counterparts at Banks’s Stadium.
Aaron Tshibola’s opener was followed by a brace from young striker Rushian Hepburn-Murphy before Green completed the rout by making it 4-0 five minutes from the end.

And Green – who also played a part in the opener, as he linked up with Gabby Agbonlahor before Tshibola broke the deadlock – took to social media to comment on the victory.
With the 18-year-old putting a fine shift against Rovers, he will be hoping that he may have done enough to force his way into Steve Bruce’s plans.

The academy graduate began the campaign very much in Roberto Di Matteo’s thoughts – making five substitute appearances while also starting the EFL Cup clash with Luton – but has not played for the first-team since August.
And with the club maintaining their unbeaten start under their new manager, Green will know that he will need to keep impressing for the under-23 side if he hopes to force his way back into a confident Villa team.
