The talented Aston Villa winger hit a brace in his latest appearance at U23 level.

Andre Green continued his progress towards full sharpness by scoring a brace as Aston Villa U23s beat their West Bromwich Albion counterparts 3-0 at home in the Premier League Cup last night.
Green has spent the majority of the season on the sidelines with a hamstring problem but the winger scored against Southampton U23s last week and followed that up by making a major impact against West Brom.

A skillful and direct player, Green frequently poses a threat to the opposing defence, and the 19-year-old did just that against West Brom as he produced an excellent display.
Green knows that he must continue to strive arduously in order to convince manager Steve Bruce that he is ready to step back up into the first-team and aid the club in their quest to secure promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs.

Callum O’Hare, the midfielder who is a regular on the scoresheet at this level, also found the net and produced an impressive all-round performance.
Bruce will doubtless be delighted with the impact that Green and O’Hare made last night, although the pair will now be eager for more first-team minutes.
