Everton central midfielder Andre Gomes has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend.
The Toffees got the better of Wolves 3-2 at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Sunday.
Richarlison was the star of the show for the Toffees, as the 22-year-old Brazil international forward scored twice for the home team.
The youngster was also on target against Lincoln City away from home in the EFL Cup last month.
Gomes – who joined Everton on a permanent deal from Barcelona in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £22 million after spending last season on loan at the Toffees – has revelled in the win against Wolves and has also praised his teammate Richarlison on Twitter.
Positive mood
Everton have made a good start to the season, and there is an air of hope and optimism at Goodison Park at the moment.
The Toffees have picked up seven points from four Premier League matches so far this season, as they aim to challenge to break into the top six.
