Everton central midfielder Andre Gomes has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s failure to win against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.

The Toffees kicked off their 2019-20 Premier League campaign with a goalless draw with Palace away from home at Selhurst Park in London.

Gomes, who made his loan deal from Barcelona permanent in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £22 million, has given his take on the final result.

The 26-year-old central midfielder believes that it was a good point away from home at Selhurst Park and has outlined the positives from the match for the fans.
