Neco Williams has told Liverpool’s official website that Harvey Elliott is an ‘unbelievable talent’.
Elliott was given game time in Liverpool’s first-team last season at the age of 17, and is regarded as part of an exciting crop of youngsters currently breaking through at Anfield.
Williams is another of the prospects who has started to prove his worth in Liverpool’s senior squad, but he is two years Elliott’s senior.
And the young-full back can’t believe just how talented Elliott is to be performing so well at such a young age.
“For Harvey to come in, he’s only 17 – what an unbelievable talent,” Williams said. “At 17 to come into this squad and to do what he does is just unbelievable.”

With Liverpool set to have a quiet summer it could be that Williams’ and Elliott’s importance to Jurgen Klopp’s side only grows next season.
Williams has proven capable of filling in for Trent Alexander-Arnold, and he has just been rewarded with a new long-term contract at the club.
Elliott, meanwhile, played a handful of times for Liverpool and never looked overawed by the challenge of playing in the first-team.
