Alexander-Arnold said about Maddison on Channel 4: “James Maddison is someone receiving the ball in those tight spaces, is an exceptional talent.”
My View: James Maddison a big player for Tottenham Hotspur and England
In my view, James Maddison is one of the best players in the Premier League and is a big player for Tottenham Hotspur.
The 26-year-old joined Tottenham from Leicester City in the summer transfer window.
The playmaker has scored two goals and given five assists in eight Premier League matches for Spurs so far this season.
Maddison has made 171 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The England international attacking midfielder has scored 45 goals and provided 37 assists in those games.
Tottenham are doing extremely well in the Premier League at the moment.
Now, I do not expect Spurs to win the Premier League title this season.
But, I believe that Tottenham could end up in the top four.
And, for that to happen, Maddison needs to be on top of his game throughout the campaign.
