Manchester United are still searching for their first win of the campaign as they head into their Premier League clash with Burnley.
United’s early-season form has been anything but smooth. Following an opening-day defeat to Arsenal and a draw with Fulham, they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup on penalties by Grimsby Town, adding to the growing frustration.

The result means Burnley are now at risk of falling further behind in the standings.
Amorim makes demands ahead of Burnley clash
The pressure is mounting on Ruben Amorim as a result, with former United legend Gordon Hill advising him to adopt a 4-4-2 formation and ditch his 3-4-2-1 system.
Fans will be hoping for a positive response from the squad soon, as another poor performance would only increase the noise around Amorim’s position. But it would help relieve some of that pressure if he can get them back on track against Burnley.

There’s really only one way Amorim can change the mood at Old Trafford, and that’s by winning football matches.
Burnley, on the other hand, are coming off a 2-0 league win over Sunderland and have followed it up by knocking Derby out of the Carabao Cup. That extra day of rest could be a factor.
Amorim will be looking for more than just a result. After a tough loss to Grimsby Town in midweek, United need to show some real improvement on the pitch to help lift spirits around the club.
“I really like the response from the players in training and we have to respond,” Amorim told MUTV. “We have a responsibility.”

“Especially in the first one, also in the first half in the second one. We show that we are a team that can win any game. We have to return to that standard, that is the most important thing for me.”
Asked how United need to respond, Amorim said: “The only way is to play well and to win games.”
Hannibal and Dubravka set to start for Burnley against United
Burnley have a couple of familiar faces in their squad this season, both with previous ties to Manchester United.
Hannibal Mejbri, who came through the academy at Carrington, made the switch to Turf Moor last year.
Joining him is Martin Dubravka, who was briefly on loan at Old Trafford before signing for Burnley from Newcastle in the summer. Both players are expected to be in Vincent Kompany’s starting line-up this weekend.
