The Netherlands faithful who have travelled to North America for the 2026 World Cup have been making themselves at home in Kansas City.

Netherlands and Tunisia are set to play out their final Group F clash of the tournament on Thursday evening.

That match is set to take place at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, and as is tradition, the ‘Orange Walk’ will take place in Kansas before the game, and Americans have been told that they are allowed to join in.

Dutch fans say everyone can participate in Orange Walk in Kansas City

Speaking to KSHB, Dutch fans Jan Koster and Daniello Cohen told the outlet that everyone is able to join in with the walk.

The Orange Walk entails Dutch fans marching behind the Oranje Bus before matches, with all fans generally wearing orange.

Koster explained: “Oranje Bus, it’s legendary of the Dutch fans. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to do that. Please do it. Yeah, it’s awesome.”

Daniello Cohen also said: “We’d like you to be a Dutch fan, but you can participate and everybody can participate. The more the merrier. Nobody will know you’re not Dutch.”

His brother, Saloman, added: “They do encourage you [to wear] something orange, but it’s a lot of fun. You just join, and that’s sort of like a line dance, you know? You don’t have to understand a whole lot once that starts happening.”

The Netherlands’ meeting with Tunisia will kick off at 6pm ET, meaning the march behind the team bus will be taking place several hours prior.

Meanwhile, the Dutch know that they need to win the clash to ensure they are able to top their group.

They sit first on four points at present, but Japan could overtake them if they are able to beat Sweden and the Netherlands lose to Tunisia.
