Everton are likely to be in the market for a new midfielder this summer, and they have been linked with a host of names already.
One of those players is Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Amer Gojak, who maybe isn’t a household name to English fans just yet.
Sportske Novosti in Croatia reported earlier this month that Everton are ‘very interested’ in signing Gojak, with his departure likely.
Everton allegedly went to scout him in a clash with Hajduk Split, though Gojak was given a red card in that game.
Atalanta and Fiorentina are rivalling Everton for Gojak’s signature, but the Toffees have been pursuing him for a long time now.
Gojak, 23, has bagged four goals and five assists this season, and his record for Bosnia and Herzegovina stands at four goals in 10 caps.
Gojak has now been discussing his future with Sportske Novosti, claiming there is ‘a lot of talk’ surrounding his future, but nothing confirmed.

Gojak is leaving the situation in the hands of his brother and father, and isn’t worried that clubs may be put off by that red card against Hajduk.
“There is a lot of talk, but nothing official,” said Gojak. “When something happens, we’ll see. My father and brother take care of it, it’s up to me to train and play.”
“No serious person buys a player based on one game or one move. Believe me, neither will anyone buy me on the basis of one game, nor will they give me up for a red card,” he added.
