Aston Villa and West Brom have quite a fierce rivalry, but two players who don’t seem to have any ill will towards each other are Callum Robinson and Jack Grealish.
Indeed, Speaking on the Premier League’s YouTube channel, Robinson has heaped praise upon Grealish.
The Baggies attacker is good friends with the England international, having come through the ranks at Villa Park with him, and he had a lot of good things to say about him.
“Obviously me and Jack came through at Aston Villa together, and we ended up just playing all the way up from 14/15 all the way up to the 18s, and we ended up getting really close off the pitch, because I used to stay at his house, his Dad used to let me stay because I’m from Northampton,” Robinson said.
“We both made it through the ranks and got into the first-team together, and now as I said, he’s gone on to do amazing in his career and he’s only getting better and better.”
Robinson isn’t wrong, Grealish is doing amazing things in his career, and he seems to be getting better with each passing week.
Sadly, Grealish hasn’t played recently due to an injury, but we can only hope he’s back to his brilliant best sooner rather than later as Villa continue to push for a European qualification spot.
