Goalkeepers often don’t get a lot of credit when they’ve played well. After all, it’s arguably the least fashionable position on a football pitch, but on Saturday, it was impossible to deny just how good the England stopper was.
Arsenal fans were going crazy about the goalkeeper, but his showing even had some Leicester City fans purring.
Indeed, the Foxes faithful couldn’t believe what they’d seen from Ramsdale, and they were quick to praise the goalie on social media.
It’s not hard to understand why either, Ramsdale made a genuine Save of the Season contender of a stop from James Maddison’s free-kick, and he looked absolutely unbeatable on the day.
