Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Matteo Guendouzi’s latest comments on his future.
Guendouzi has told France Football that despite being away on loan at the moment, he still thinks that he has a future at Arsenal.
The 21-year-old midfielder joined German club Hertha Berlin on loan from the Gunners in the summer of 2020.
The France Under-21 international had issues last season, and manager Mikel Arteta decided to send him out on loan for the 2020-21 campaign.
Guendouzi has said that he still wants to play for Arsenal and is willing to work under Arteta again.
The midfielder told France Football, as translated by GFFN: “Now, I am focused on my season with Hertha Berlin. Next, we will have a sit down with my entourage and people at the club to think and discuss the future. I am still an Arsenal player. This summer will be a decisive moment.”
The Frenchman added when asked about working with Arteta again: “Yes, of course. I belong to Arsenal for another year (until June 2022).”

Some Arsenal fans have reacted to Guendouzi’s latest comments on his future on Twitter.
Below are some of the best comments:
Guendouzi is only 21 years of age, and he did do well when he played for Arsenal.
Given that the youngster has a contract with Arsenal, Arteta could decide to include him in his squad for next season.
Of course, it may not be that simple, as Arteta may not think that Guendouzi is good enough to play week in and week out for his team, which could lead the Frenchman to search for a new club.
According to WhoScored, Guendouzi has made 14 starts and five substitute appearances in the Bundesliga so far this season, scoring two goals in the process.
