The Liverpool ace has shown his creative side this season.

Liverpool star James Milner spoke to reporters ahead of his side’s Champions League clash with Porto at Anfield tomorrow night, and expressed his delight at leading the assist tables in Europe’s premier competition this season, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
The veteran 32-year-old has been consistent as ever for the Reds this season, chipping in with a goal and nine assists in 33 appearances in all competitions thus far.

Milner’s versatility, and relentless determination makes him one of Jürgen Klopp’s most important players, but his creativity often gets overlooked.
The Liverpool stalwart spoke to reporters ahead of tomorrow night’s clash with Porto, and joked how his tally of seven assists in the Champions League this term has given him ammunition in the banter stakes at Anfield, as quoted by the Daily Mail:

“I’ve been mentioning it? I think it’s more the other way around to be honest. There has been a bit of banter about it. It’s nice to have, it helps me shut down any arguments if there is any banter going on in the dressing room. I just want to contribute to the team. Throughout my career I’ve managed to create goals for the team I have played at. That’s a strength of mine even though I am seen as a bit of a workhorse who runs around a bit. Throughout the years if you look at the stats I have created a few goals. Hopefully I can keep doing that.”
Milner’s seven assists puts him three ahead of teammate Roberto Firmino, Neymar, Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne in the rankings – a quite simply amazing feat from the 32-year-old Englishman.
The Merseyside outfit head into tomorrow night’s game at Anfield with a five-goal cushion, and Milner will be hoping to add to his already impressive record of assists, and help his side reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League in the process.
