Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after hearing that 16-year-old Alexei Rojas Fedorushchenko trained with the first-team yesterday.
What’s the story?
Well, Arsenal must have a special prospect on their hands in Fedorushchenko.
Make no mistake about it, it’s not normal for a 16-year-old to train with the first-team, let alone at a club of Arsenal’s magnitude.
Mikel Arteta clearly has a lot of confidence in the teenager, or else he wouldn’t have allowed him in between the sticks up against senior, Premier League players.
Fedorushchenko took to Instagram yesterday to share the news with his followers, describing it as an ‘incredible’ experience.
The shot-stopper has only played Under-16 football this season, with one appearance on the bench for the Under-18 side.
Training at London Colney must’ve been a big change to what he’s used to over at Hale End!
Arsenal’s Hale End Academy strikes again

Under Arteta’s guidance, Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka have risen to become quality Premier League players, and now they’re involved with England as well.
Behind them, Eddie Nketiah and Folarin Balogun have impressed after emerging from the Hale End Academy.
In Fedorushchenko, it seems as if the Gunners have made another gem.

As aforesaid, it’s abnormal for a player this young to be getting involved with the first-team, so the goalkeeping prodigy must be quite special.
Keep an eye on his development, as it seems Arsenal could have a future star on their hands.
For now, let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about Fedorushchenko…
