Keeping tabs
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur should follow James Maddison closely during the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
Now, Leicester are a big and established club in the Premier League, and they are unlikely to be willing to sell one of their best players in the middle of the season.
However, if Tottenham make a good offer and are able to convince Maddison, then they could get him.
The English playmaker will come up against some of the best players in the world in Qatar, and Spurs should monitor how he does in the biggest footballing competition on the planet and if he can hold his own when he plays.
