Speaking on the Official Leeds United Podcast, Liam Cooper has been discussing Stuart Dallas and his impact on the dressing room at Elland Road.
The Northern Irishman has been sidelined for quite some time now with a fractured femur, and sadly, he’s not been able to play this season so far.
However, that doesn’t mean that he isn’t having an impact at Leeds. According to Cooper, Dallas is still one of the leaders at the club behind the scenes, stating that it’s great to have the utility man around Thorp Arch.

Cooper spoke about Dallas.
“Like I said earlier, we have an amazing group, there are a lot of leaders in this group. The likes of Stuart Dallas. He’s playing the role I had to last season, it’s difficult for Stuart but he’s a great person to have around the place, Luke Ayling and Adam Forshaw as well,” Cooper said.

Leeds United have managed to stabilise themselves in the Premier League over the past three years, and one big reason for that is the togetherness and the leadership within this group.
Yes, there has been a lot of turnover in the squad with big-money transfers in and out making headlines every summer, but the likes of Cooper, Dallas, Forshaw, Ayling and Patrick Bamford have been constants and they set the standards for every new player that arrives.
This is a new squad under a new manager, but make no mistake about it, the values that helped Leeds get promoted from the Championship back in 2020 are still there and being implemented by the leaders in that dressing room.
Dallas may not have played this season, but he’s still one of the most important characters at this football club.
