Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported they’re close to signing Nahitan Nandez on an initial loan with an obligation to buy.
Nandez has been strongly linked to Spurs in recent days, and it seems as though there has now been a breakthrough.
The Uruguayan is a player Fabio Paratici will certainly know very well from his time in Serie A, and now it looks like he’ll be bringing him to north London.
Tottenham supporters are very excited about the prospect of Nandez joining, and some fans are also rather impressed with the structure of the deal as an initial loan will help Spurs in terms of FFP after a tough financial year.
It’s easy to understand why the fanbase are happy about this rumour. Nandez is a tough-tackling high-energy midfielder who would fit right into Nuno Espirito Santo’s system.
