Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to hail Everton and Duncan Ferguson for their treatment of a supporter, after a video message was sent.
What’s the story?
Well, an Everton fan named Michael, who has Down’s Syndrome, drew a photo of Ferguson, which Everton passed onto the Scotsman.
Going above and beyond, Ferguson recorded a video message over a minute long to thank Michael for his drawing, and wish him all the best.
That wasn’t all, however. The 49-year-old also filmed himself going into the boot of his car, where he pulled out a ‘Ferguson 9’ Everton shirt for Michael.
Michael could only have the shirt on one condition – that he sent Ferguson the drawing as part of a trade deal!
It was a lovely gesture from the Everton man.
A written thank you in acknowledgement would’ve been nice enough, but Ferguson went the extra mile to add that personal touch and give Michael a gift in these testing times.
It speaks volumes that even the Liverpool fans showered the Everton icon in praise!
Liverpool, Everton and other Premier League clubs are vital

Without a doubt, the last two years have been pretty miserable for everybody across the planet.
In times like these, gestures like what Ferguson did can go such a long way to making life better for someone out there.
It’s something that Liverpool, Everton and other Premier League clubs must do more of, as they simply do no understand the impact they have on supporters’ lives.

Unquestionably, Michael will be overjoyed with Ferguson’s message and present, which will hopefully make life better for him for a considerable amount of time.
For now, let’s see what the Liverpool fans on Twitter have been saying about Ferguson’s gesture…
