Gabriel Agbonlahor has told MatchDay Live Extra, which was broadcast by Premier League Productions, that he thinks Leeds United will be fine to avoid relegation.
Agbonlahor has been a vocal critic of Leeds, and there was an expectation that he would relish their heavy defeat against Manchester United yesterday.
However, the former Aston Villa striker was actually fairly complimentary of Marcelo Bielsa’s men after the game.
And he expects Leeds to avoid the drop comfortably, despite yesterday’s loss.
“No, not at all, they’ll be fine,” Agbonlahor said, when asked if Leeds could go down.
“They’ll win games. Last week they beat Newcastle by five goals, this week they lose by six.
“I just feel that maybe some times when you are playing the bigger teams maybe change tactics a bit, but as a neutral they are amazing to watch.”

Leeds do appear to have enough attacking strength to keep them in the division this season, but they will want to avoid too many defeats of the scale they took yesterday.
Leeds have now conceded more goals than any other top flight club this season, and unless they tighten up at the back, it is hard to see them climbing too much higher than their current position of 14th.
Bielsa’s men do at least have a cushion over the bottom three, as they currently sit seven points clear of the drop zone.
