Leeds United need an experienced powerful forward and Kenwyne Jones would be ideal.
Kenwyne Jones is available of a free transfer and would be ideal for Leeds
Leeds United fans will be hoping that their club will be involved in the promotion race come the end of the season now they have Garry Monk at the helm.
It will be vital for the former Swansea City boss to recruit in the right areas over the summer in order for Leeds to be successful, and a good place to start would be the acquisition of Trinidad and Tobago marksman Kenwyne Jones.
Jones has proven pedigree at Championship level
His power and athleticism would be a great asset to the Elland Road club and he is vastly experienced at Championship level.
In his time in the English game he has scored 86 goals in 343 appearances, and although he is not the most clinical of strikers, his overall game is tailored to enhance his teammates’ performance’s and he has the wonderful knack of being able to link up play from defence to attack.

For such a big man he is also surprisingly quick on the ground, which makes him so hard to play against, as defenders are never sure whether he will run in behind or receive the ball to feet with his back to goal.
The 31-year-old would provide stiff competition for Marcus Antonsson and Chris Wood, and could give Leeds a different option should they need to vary their tactics.
Should a move come to fruition, it would be a transfer fairly low on the risk scale, with no fee needed to bring Jones to West Yorkshire.
The former Sunderland and Stoke City man still has a few years left at the top of his game, with the ability to vastly improve this Leeds side and help fire them to promotion.
