Martin Braithwaite in action
First up is news regarding one of the Hammers’ summer transfer targets Martin Braithwaite, with the Dane committing his immediate future to Ligue 1 side Toulouse, as reported by the Daily Mail.
The 25-year-old Danish international forward has refused to rule out playing in England at some point during his career, however, saying that he wants to play for some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Meanwhile, talented West Ham youngster Reece Burke has signed a new four-year deal with the Hammers, but has talked up the possibility of him leaving the club on loan this season in order to gain experience.

He told the club’s official website that he would favour a move to the Championship:
“This season for me, another loan move may happen. I think I’m going to try and do Championship – the next step – and see how the season goes hopefully playing Championship football and I’ll hopefully get another load of games under my belt.”
In other news, a report from the Sun suggests that Southampton are ready to hijack the Hammers’ move for Juventus forward Simone Zaza.

The report suggests Saints manager Claude Puel is keen on Zaza, and has identified the Italian as the man to ‘sprinkle some stardust’ on his forward line this season.
And finally, an update on the Wilfried Bony situation, with the Telegraph reporting that he could be moving to the Londoners, but only on a loan deal until January.
The newspaper understands that a deal has already been struck to take the Ivorian to the Chinese Super League during the winter transfer window, so a move to the Hammers will only be temporary, if at all.
