Tony Adams has had no involvement with Arsenal since his departure from the club in 2002, but The Daily Mail are reporting that the former Gunners captain has started coaching at the club’s Hale End academy.
The Mail go on to claim that it still remains to be seen whether he will join the club in a full-time capacity, but he has been working with the Arsenal youngsters since last Wednesday.

Having a man of Adams’ presence around the club could do wonders for the development of the young players within the set-up.
Arsenal have been notorious for bringing exciting young talent through the ranks over the past 10 years, but the conveyer belt of wonder-kids seems to have slowed down over the past three seasons, Alex Iwobi excluded.

Adams joins a long list of club legends who have been involved with the Gunner’s youth setup, following the likes of Thierry Henry and Freddie Ljungberg into the coaching side of the game.
Arsenal fans will be hoping that Adams can help install some spirit and passion into the next crop of stars coming through the ranks – something the senior squad have severely lacked over the past decade.
