The former Crystal Palace striker is a free agent and Celtic should make a move for the hitman.

Emmanuel Adebayor is available on a free transfer after being released by Crystal Palace this summer, and he would make a fantastic signing for Scottish champions Celtic.
Although the 32-year-old has endured a disappointing couple of seasons, his quality is still without question, and the Hoops should consider a move for the ex-Arsenal man and reunite the Togolese with his former Gunners teammate Kolo Toure.

The Glasgow club have dominated the Premiership since Rangers’ demotion in 2012, but they have struggled in European competition.
While their squad is arguably strong enough to challenge again domestically, there is desperate need for improvement if they are to elevate themselves to a level where they are ready for continental contention.
Adebayor would provide Brendan Rodgers’ side with something entirely different, and most importantly he would bring experience of playing at the very top level.
Would Brendan Rodgers consider a move for Adebayor?
The former Togo international boasts an impressive record of 97 goals in 242 league outings (60 as a substitute) during his time in English football.
He has wonderful technical ability for such a big man, and is just as dangerous in the air as he is with the ball at his feet.
If Celtic manage to acquire a player of Adebayor’s calibre, they would certainly be in a stronger position to challenge for honours on all fronts this season.
He is exactly the kind of statement signing Rodgers needs to make, and although his wage demands would undoubtedly be sky-high, he would be worth every penny if he could fire Celtic to another league title and more importantly assist them in their progression through to the Champions League group stages and possibly even further.
