Arsenal’s Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina is reportedly trying to convince fellow countrymen James Rodriguez to join him at the Emirates, according to Spanish news outlet AS.
Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are all reportedly interested in signing the talented Real Madrid attacker (Marca), but it would seem the Gunners have the most urgent need for the 25-year-old.

With growing unrest amongst the Arsenal fanbase, it will take a Rodriguez-like signing to appease the disgruntled North London natives.
AS go on to report that Ospina and Rodriguez are extremely close, after the Madrid man married the Arsenal stopper’s sister, and that Ospina has told Rodriguez how he would be a key player at Arsenal.

The former Porto and Monaco star has made 80 appearances for Los Blancos since his move to the Spanish capital in the summer of 2014 and has scored 25 goals, but his displays have been upstaged by the brilliance of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.
He can play anywhere along the front-line, and would provide much needed quality and versatility to the Arsenal line-up, should a move come to fruition.
Would Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger be prepared to pay the kind of fee needed to prise Rodriguez away from the Bernabeu?
