Hibernian manager Neil Lennon wants to bring in multiple signings
Hibernian manager Neil Lennon has stated his intentions regarding the club’s transfer activity when speaking exclusively to Sky Sports.
The former Celtic boss was handed the reins at Easter Road earlier this month following the departure of Alan Stubbs, and after their failure to gain promotion last term, Lennon told Sky Sports how he wants to strengthen his squad, while admitting interest in Scott McDonald and Grant Holt.

“There’s interest in both players, but that’s all there is at the moment,” he said. “They’re two players that I know having worked with both of them, and I know they would make us better. We could do with a bit of physicality in the team, so we’re looking at a centre-forward, a centre-half and a goalkeeper.”
Despite wanting to make additions to his forward line, Lennon is confident the club can hold on to their star man Jason Cummings, after holding talks with the marksman regarding his future.
“I had a chat with him and his representatives last week which was very positive so,” Lennon added. “He was a big player last year, he’s a goalscorer and they’re hard to find.”

The pressure will certainly be on Lennon, as he look stop return Hibs to the Scottish top flight. With the absence of Rangers, the Edinburgh club have been made 11/8 favourites to win the league by betting company William Hill.
Lennon went on to explain how he wants to act promptly in the transfer market before their pre-season is in full swing.
“We’re in talks with a couple of players, hopefully we can get those over the line within the next few days,” he said.
Hibs kick their season off away to Falkirk on August 6, as they begin their quest to join Scotland’s elite.
