Crystal Palace have emerged as the new favourites to win the race to sign Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, with SkyBet pricing the Eagles up at 11/4.
News broke this morning that the Gunners are prepared to let Wilshere, 24, leave on loan before the transfer window closes tomorrow in a bid for him to gain more regular first-team football and, in turn, increase his chances of playing for England (the Guardian).

With just just over a day remaining before the transfer window closes, any kind of deal for Wilshere will have to be completed sooner rather than later.
