Birmingham City are the bookies favourites for the Dundee striker’s signature.

Birmingham have been made odds-on favourites with bookmakers BETVICTOR to sign Dundee striker Greg Stewart.
The 26-year-old has been in sparkling form already this season for his club, and has managed six goals in three Scottish League Cup outings.
BETVICTOR price Birmingham at 4/6 to obtain Stewart’s services, while Dundee’s Scottish Premiership rivals Aberdeen are joint second favourites in the betting at 6/1.
Leeds United are another club in the running to sign the Scottish striker, also priced at 6/1.

St Andrews would seem the likeliest destination for Stewart, however, with Birmingham’s need for a striker seemingly greater than the other club’s requirements in forward areas.
Gary Rowett’s search for a striker has been well documented, with his protracted pursuit of Sheffield United’s Che Adams so far proving unsuccessful (Birmingham Mail).

Maybe the Dundee forward will be a better alternative to Adams, or would Rowett consider bringing them both to the club?
They certainly need to strengthen their options in attacking areas, and bringing Steward to the club would be a good place to start.
The Scottish Premiership is of similar style and intensity to the English Championship, so the 26-year-old would be unlikely to have any issues in getting used to the pace of play.
Birmingham kick-off their Championship season tomorrow at home to Cardiff, and it is unlikely that any deals will be done before then.
