Report suggests Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford has agreed to join Burnley on loan.

Burnley have agreed a deal to sign Patrick Bamford on a season-long loan from Chelsea, according to the Guardian.
The Clarets were one of many clubs linked with the 22-year-old striker throughout the summer, but Guardian now claims the opportunity to stay in the Premier League was a major factor behind Bamford’s decision.
With Andre Gray and Sam Vokes already amongst Sean Dyche’s striking options, the Lancashire outfit will have a genuine Premier League ready strike-force.

Bamford is a cultured player, who will bring a certain level of guile and creativity to Burnley’s attacking play, and whilst he is not the most prolific of strikers, he will definitely provide Dyche with an option that he currently does not have at his disposal.
He is yet to make a senior appearance for the Blues, despite having been with the club or four years, and has been shipped out on loan on six separate occasions.

With just two years remaining on his current deal with Chelsea, surely a permanent move will be high on both his and the Blues’ agenda, and if he impresses during his spell at Turf Moor, maybe burnley could be the club that allows him to realise his true potential.
