Joleon Lescott has officially left Aston Villa
First up is news of Joleon Lescott’s move to AEK Athens, as confirmed by the Greek outfit via their official Twitter account:
Lescott became an almost villainous figure towards the end of his Villa career, after posting a picture of an expensive supercar to his Twitter account following his side’s 6-0 home loss to Liverpool.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail are reporting that the Villans have made a club record bid of £14 million for Hull City striker Abel Hernandez.

And finally, the Bristol Post are reporting that Villa have had a bid for Britt Assombalonga rejected by Nottingham Forest.
