Granit Xhaka made a £30 million move to Arsenal last week and he has picked his ultimate European Championship team.

In an exclusive feature for Euro 2016’s official Twitter account, Arsenal’s new midfielder and Switzerland star Granit Xhaka has named his greatest all-time European Championship XI.
The former Borussia Monchengladbach man included one former Gunner in his team – the legendary Frenchman Thierry Henry. The Sky Sports pundit was joined in the dream team by compatriot and current Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane.

The most represented country in Xhaka’s XI was Italy with three players. Gianluigi Buffon was picked as the number one, while legendary AC Milan defender Paolo Maldini was chosen in defence with New York City and former Juventus star Andrea Pirlo sitting in front of the back four.

Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Figo got the nod from the Swiss star, while there was a surprise inclusion from the Czech Republic, with Xhaka choosing Pavel Nedved in a wide attacking role.

Xhaka is part of the Switzerland squad currently preparing for their opening Euro 2016 fixture against Albania on June 11th.
