Liverpool star Fabinho has raved about Manchester United midfielder Fred in The Telegraph.
Fabinho has said that he cannot understand why his Brazil international teammate Fred gets criticism from the Manchester United fans.
The Liverpool defensive midfielder believes that the £47 million (BBC Sport) player is a really good footballer who always does well.
Fabinho made the comments about Fred ahead of the Premier League game between Manchester United and Liverpool at Old Trafford on Monday evening.
Fred is likely to start for Erik ten Hag’s side, while Fabinho will line up for Liverpool.

Fabinho told The Telegraph about Fred: “Sometimes I don’t really understand the criticisms with Fred because he is a regular player, he always plays good football.
“In general Manchester United have not been successful in the last seasons so you try to find a solution or you try to put the fault on some of the players and sometimes I think Fred is that player.
“But he is a good player, in the national team, he is always a starter, he always plays good and, yes, sometimes the player needs a little bit more confidence to play good.
“Last season he played really good football, maybe he was one of the best United players. This season United didn’t start really good but I hope Fred will play good and United will stay playing like this.”
Big game

United have made a really bad start to the season, while Liverpool have not been very efficient and dominating.
Fred will play a big role for the Red Devils if he starts tonight in the middle of the park.
As for Fabinho, the Brazil international remains a key figure in the Liverpool team and will be in charge of breaking up United’s attacking forays.
