Wolves defender Conor Coady has decided to join Instagram – and Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish has given him quite the welcome.
The Villa playmaker posted on his own Instagram story ‘ Welcome to Instagram bro’.
He then added, ‘always fouling me’, as he accompanied the caption with an image of the Villa man on the floor, after being fouled, and Coady towering above him.
Coady did respond to the Villa academy product and he simply stated: “We were pups then, mate.”
The image stems from Wolves and Villa’s days in the Championship because a certain Ross McCormack was also in the picture posted by Grealish.
Nonetheless, Grealish’s comments are all in jest and it is light-hearted, as this crop of England players have a real togetherness about them.
Even Tyrone Mings and Conor Coady have built quite the bromance on England duty, even though they are rivals on the domestic scene.
Coady is one of those who should count himself unlucky that he hasn’t been able to get onto the pitch at Euro 2020.
Although, that was acknowledged by Gareth Southgate and how it is a regret of his during this tournament.
But there are possibly two games remaining, including against Denmark tomorrow night at Wembley, and anyone’s services could be needed on the night.
