Leeds United have reportedly identified Harrison Reed as a potential signing this summer.

The Whites are in the market for a new central midfielder to compete with and cover Kalvin Phillips next term.

Phillips spent a couple of chunks of last season out injured and centre-back Robin Koch was among those who had to deputise for the Leeds star.

According to The Daily Mail, the relegated Fulham player is on the Elland Road club’s radar this summer.

With the Cottagers dropping into the Championship, the 26-year-old may be available for a cut-price fee.

And going by some reaction on Twitter, a bunch of Leeds fans are more than willing to have him in West Yorkshire.

Here’s what they’re saying:

It remains to be seen how much Leeds will have to spend this summer.

Having finished in the top half on their Premier League return last term, surely owner Andrea Radrizzani will back sporting director Victor Orta to the hills because you do get the impression Marcelo Bielsa’s project is only really starting.

And as mentioned, someone like Reed isn’t going to break the bank.
