Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has told Sky Sports that he is not injured after yesterday’s game against Leicester City.

Bamford limped off towards the end of Leeds’ match at the King Power Stadium, sparking concerns that he could be nursing a problem.

But Bamford insists that the issue was nothing serious, and he just took a slight knock during the game.

“Dead leg, but it’ll be alright,” he said.

The update looks like great news for Leeds, who saw the very best of Bamford yesterday.

The striker went into the game on the back of a four game scoring drought, but he looked full of confidence against Leicester, as he helped Marcelo Bielsa’s men to a 3-1 victory.

Bamford scored Leeds’ second goal of the match with a wonderful left-footed finish, and he also teed up Jack Harrison to net the third with a wonderful piece of unselfish play.

Leeds’ win has lifted them up to 12th place in the Premier League table.
