Tottenham academy product Oliver Skipp seems to be making some mark on the Championship because Norwich fans have been in awe of him again last night.
The Spurs loanee started his side’s 2-1 win against Nottingham Forest and put in another top-quality performance which sent the pulses racing for those at Carrow Road.
A selection of Norwich supporters just cannot believe how good the Tottenham man is in possession, without the ball and how he deals with difficult situations.
The results are there for all to see because Norwich are sitting top of the Championship table and will now only have one thought process on their minds.
Whilst there is still a long way to go, they should seal a top-six finish at the very least now, so Skipp may well play his part in a team fighting its way back from relegation.
If Skipp’s performances continue as they are, it will be interesting to see where his future lies because the combative nature to his game would suit a Jose Mourinho system.
But equally, if Norwich earn promotion back to the Premier League then they would want their midfield aggressor and tone-setter to be working his magic from the middle of the park next season.
